Bobtails and the BBC - 11/3/2009

Today 3rd November, Bobtails was featured on the BBC tv programme 'Car Booty'.

Originally Judith Millard, the subject of the programme was going to donate the money raised to another rescue, who as stated on the programme does breed giant rabbits. We were asked to take part in the programme and allowed them to film here at Bobtails, we stated from the outset that we did not want our rescue to be confused with the original rescue mentioned, in Greenwich, as we DO NOT breed or endorse breeding in any way, and personally do not believe rescue and breeding can go hand in hand.

This implication was no fault of Judith’s and should have been edited correctly as promised by the BBC to us. We will be making an official complaint to them.

Judith has made an extremely generous donation to Bobtails and we thank her for her kindness and help. An official ‘thank you’ to Judith with more info and pictures will be on the website in a couple of days.
